Editorial Policy

We write for travelers first. Each guide should answer the main question quickly, show what can change, link to official sources, and include the date we last checked the information.

We do not present ourselves as a government agency, airline, veterinarian, lawyer, or travel agent. When a rule depends on route, date, species, country, airline, or document type, we say so and point readers to the official source.

Before publication, we define the exact decision a traveler is making, review the responsible authority’s current page, separate binding requirements from practical advice, test every source link, and read the draft for overstatement. After publication, we inspect the public page and revisit the guide when an authority or carrier changes its rules.

Editorial policy reviewed: June 1, 2026. Material corrections should be reflected in the affected guide’s own checked date.
